At Pacific Perfumes we embrace nature. So it will come as no surprise that everything we do comes from a commitment to sustainability. We take this world very seriously and every step we take as perfumers, we aim to minimize the effects on our environment. Possibly like you, we understand that our world is enormously fragile.

From the first moment you handle perfumes from our new Artisan range, you will feel this commitment. Our whole-earth packaging is made from entirely renewable and recyclable sources.

The Artisan range of perfumes is made entirely of ingredients that are 100% natural and 100% botanical. No man-made synthetics are ever added. Our fragrances themselves are extracted from the purest botanicals of flower, woods, and resins. These safe raw materials are ethically sourced.

And as for our lovely little wooden pots?

Since we absolutely do not support the logging of New Zealand native timber, we searched for high and low to find an eco-friendly alternative. Finally we settled on the perfect solution - Sustainable Beech supplied by Lindsay & Dixon who have Rainforest Alliance and FSC certification. Sourced from sustainable New Zealand forests, a new tree is planted for every one that is logged. YES!

Never to be undermined, we respect our environment and have always been dedicated to sourcing sustainable raw materials. This may mean simply naturally grown or ‘wildcrafted’ or purely organic. In our everyday work, we seek out and support farmers, raw-material suppliers and distillers who use sustainable practices, Fair Trade and Green business practices.

Uniquely Kiwi, we donate $1 from each and every sale of the Artisan range to the NZ Forest and Bird Society who plays an invaluable role in protecting and nurturing Aotearoa’s native plants, animals and wild places. Let’s keep them all alive!

Being sustainable and putting our conscience into action is something we work hard at and are very proud of. After all, we believe we are Te Whanau o Aotearoa - simply ‘caretakers’ of this land.

"If I were a maker of perfumes, I would make one and call it 'Spring', and it would smell like this cool, sweet, early-morning air. "
- Ann Petry (1908-1997), American author
